- Leadership & Strategy: Execute the centre's business strategy, balancing sales objectives with content quality. Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Sales Leadership: Partner with the Sales Manager to oversee the sales team, set revenue targets, and develop creative advertising solutions. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and sponsors.
- Content Oversight: Partner with Content Director to ensure highquality content that meets the needs of our audience. Provide guidance on programming, talent selection, and community involvement.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daytoday operations, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance with broadcasting regulations. Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Community Engagement: Represent the station in the community, building relationships with local leaders and organizations. Identify opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships that enhance the station's profile.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators and report results to senior management. Use data to inform decisionmaking and drive improvements.
- You have a proven track record in leadership, preferably in a related industry.
- Experience in both businesstobusiness sales and media content is preferred, however we are willing to train the right person.
- You have strong communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- You can manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- You have excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- You are familiar with broadcast regulations, industry trends, digital media platforms, and local advertising tactics.
