    The Technical Safety and Corporate Services Division of the department provides direction and support to all employees in the areas of financial services, legislative/regulatory and legal analysis, human resources, employee health and safety, information management, fleet and facilities management and accountability.

    What you will do

    As an administrative assistant to the Directors of Policy, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement, and Planning and Innovation, you will play an important role in supporting the operations of these branches. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Preparing, formatting, proof-reading, tracking and following up on a variety of documents;
    • Coordinating the signing process for Memorandums to the Executive Council;
    • Supporting the Correspondence Lead on tasks related to ministerial correspondence, including logging, filing, reporting and preparing packages for signature;
    • Processing translation requests;
    • Managing financial transactions, including ordering supplies and verifying coding on invoices;
    • Assisting with tasks related to employee meetings and events.

    Work environment:

    • Office location: Marysville Place, 20 McGloin Street, Fredericton
    • Office layout: cubicles
    • Your team: Small team of professionals providing support to senior management and department officials
    • Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30

    Need to have

    • Graduation from High School supplemented by a two-year related post-secondary diploma;
    • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience;
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Teams.

    An equivalent combination of education, trainingand experience may be considered.

    Written and spoken competence in English and spoken competence in French is required, please state your language capability

    Wage
    Administrative Level 3: $1,625-$1,971 bi-weekly depending on education and experience.
