You will report to the Chief Accountant and will be required to:

Develop and monitor financial performance measurement tools.
Prepare monthly financial management and presentation analyses for each business unit.
Actively participate in preparing the annual budget and financial projections.
Support the Accounting team in carrying out monthend closures and in preparing financial statements and presentations for management.
Identify and explain budgetary discrepancies.
Help revise and analyze work in progress for engineering projects on a monthly basis.
Design and develop models and tools to analyze financial results for special projects and make appropriate recommendations.

Requirements:

At least five years of professional experience in the accounting and financial management fields
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Asset: experience in a services firm
Asset: professional designation (CPA)
Asset: experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Power BI
