We are looking for an experienced engineer to set up, harden, document and maintain production-grade n8n environment.- Hardening infrastructure including Caddy configuration HTTPS termination
- n8n setup in Docker with proper persistent volumes secure cookies proxy trust internal external protocol handling optimize for 2GB RAM memory safety random restarts
- Daily backups of n8n workflow definitions credentials metadata stored on droplet timestamped retained restorable documented steps optional off-server backup S3 Spaces etc one-command recovery process clean restarts docker compose safe time basic monitoring logging prevent database resets volume misconfiguration auth session corruption provide clear documentation another engineer take over if needed build debug refactor workflows advise best practices webhooks credentials error handling versioning workflows ongoing support retainer after initial setup required experience real self-hosted productions strong Docker Docker Compose knowledge reverse proxies understanding Linux permissions volumes backups DigitalOcean similar VPS providers will ask technical questions nice have recovering broken instances designing automation CRMs calendars webhooks APIs git-based workflow versioning infrastructure documentation habits deliverables working production-safe setup automated daily backup recovery system documented architecture README Notion-ready clean maintainable config stable UI WebSocket disconnects auth issues engagement type initial project maintenance workflow prefer long-term relationship contract duration months hours per week mandatory skills DevOps Deployment Automation
