Mission:

The Supply Chain Strategy & Network manager is accountable for the continuous optimization of Danone Canada's logistic network.

His mission will revolve around minimizing our carbon footprint and providing the most efficient road to market, hence optimizing the financial costs linked with our operations.

He is leading all the reflections around network optimization thanks to the combination of his analytical and supply chain skills.

On top of these responsibilities, he also supports the creation of our long-term Operations Strategic roadmap and participates to our Digitalization journey by leading some digital initiatives within our Supply Chain team.


More specifically:

Optimize our current Logistic Network:

  • Identify, analyze and simulate optimization ideas linked with our logistic network (from our sourcing plants to our customer distribution) to build actionable projects.
  • Track and ensure the delivery of our network projects.
  • Maintain the mapping of our North American logistic network in our simulation platform.

Collaborate as an active member in our cross functional project teams

  • Represent the Logistic team in our innovation and productivity projects.
  • Develop & recommend the best Road To Market for every innovation launch.

Participate to the creation of our Operations Strategic Roadmap and be a leader of our Digitalization and Transformation journey:

  • Coordinate the Supply Chain departments to build our long-term strategic plan.
  • Animate Supply Chain workshops to ideate and feed our productivity projects pipeline.
  • Lead and animate the Supply Chain departments and IT teams in deploying our Digital Transformation roadmap such as implementing tasks automation and centralizing our scorecards and dashboards.

About you- Bachelor degree in business administration, Supply Chain or other relevant field.

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in operations and/or supply chain.
  • Professional experience in a consumer goods company and good knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain stakes and network changes implications.
  • English is required (French is an asset).
  • Strong Analytical Skills, Capability to turn figures into insights and actions.
  • Strong Knowledge and use of Excel (Power BI and coding language are an asset).
  • Good Financial Skills to build business case.
  • Collaborative with strong Leadership skills.
  • Resilience, positive attitude and implicated.
