You as a
Surveyor
will:
- Collect data using GPS /Total station and or other standard appropriate surveying techniques
- Provide layout at various stages of construction of digital design data. Pipe alignments, ground models, bridge piers, etc
- Ensure field quality control is managed at all times; this would include completing control checks and field records for all project related tasks.
- Review elevations, gridlines, layout and maintenance work and adjust elevations and benchmarks as the project progresses to ensure correct and reliable data throughout the completion of the project
- Partner with project teams to share your recommendations and best practices in an efficient and effective manner
Is this the right role for you?
- You have a surveying related degree/diploma and a minimum of 3 years of surveying experience working on large civil infrastructure and earthwork projects or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- You have strong knowledge and use of GPS and Total Station for Topographic Surveying, ground modeling and precision stake out as well as AutoCad experience
- You have strong knowledge of all other general surveying techniques & equipment, laser, leveling, string lines, etc
- You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and sharing your best practices with the project team
