Mohawk College is currently recruiting for our nextProfessor, Business - Human Resources Management - Part Time
The McKeil School of Business requires a part time Professor to teach in the Human Resources Management Graduate program and the Business Administration - Human Resources Diploma program.
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Professors in this department are responsible for providing academic leadership for developing an effective learning environment.
Responsibilities:
The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create a positive learning environment in the classroom and laboratories
- Providing innovative educational delivery and experiences through the use of online educational technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), for inclass and online delivery. Use a variety of techniques to evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes
- Develop, deliver and revise learning resources within the department
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Health and Safety, Recruitment and Selection, Compensation Administration, and/or Human Resource Management
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in business disciplines
- Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level would be an asset
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity and inclusion with the ability to communicate and work effectively interculturally with diverse groups of students, employees and the community.
