About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join IT Application Delivery team. The role of the Product Manager is to translate the organization's operational plans and abstract initiatives into reality. The Product Manager will lead the B2B Portal platform and shape the vision for the platform.

They will work closely with the Engineering and Solutioning teams to design and implement robust solutions in order to meet the organization's operational needs.

About Your Day

  • Facilitate the gathering of business requirements and business analysis for both strategic and IT led initiatives across multiple disciplines (digital/customer experience, merchandising, supply chain, finance, etc.
  • Review and ensure that the requirements gathered, and user stories created accurately reflect the needs and pain points of the project
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams to evaluate solutions to ensure that the proposed solution meets business and testing requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback, analyzing project performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize process and enhance team efficiency.
  • Prioritize work within projects and initiatives, as well as clearly communicate priorities to stakeholders by tailoring to the audience.
  • Drive the execution of projects by overseeing the implementation of product features, coordinating development and testing efforts, and monitoring progress against project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to keep projects on track. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and successful product feature launches.
  • Communicate the platform roadmap and state of the prioritized backlog in a concise, accurate, and professional manner that is mindful of an executive audience for consumption, including summary reporting and alignment with S&T initiatives.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups across the business, technology, and vendors.
  • Facilitate and foster platform team culture and adherence to scrum ceremonies.
About You

  • Completion of Post-Secondary education in Business or Computer Science or related area of study OR equivalent combination of experience and postsecondary education.
  • 3+ years' experience driving the vision, roadmap, and execution of a platform, preferably an B2C or B2B ecommerce platform.
  • Experience in working with teams operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) as well as tools (ex. JIRA & Confluence).
  • Experience in working with business, engineering, and architecture to develop a strategy and roadmap to help solve internal and external customer problems.
  • Experience with web services and serviceoriented architectures in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highlevel understanding of scalable distributed systems and cloudbased technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project as well as any other project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation in the area of Occupational Health & Safety, Employment Standards Act, AODA, Cannabis Act and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
