    Description

    Job Summary:

    • This role involves conducting hydrogeological reviews and making timely recommendations for proposed in situ oil sands activities under various acts.
    • The position entails drafting approvals with site-specific conditions, liaising with industry representatives, performing technical reviews, and supporting statements of concern processes.

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Earth Science, Engineering or Environmental Science with specialization in hydrogeology and 5-7 years related experience within the sector.
    • Professional designation (P.Geo) from APEGA or eligibility to register as such is considered desirable.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex information effectively
