Description

ROLE

  • Be an Ambassador for the GUERLAIN brand, its history, values and knowhow
  • Oversee the Spa Reception and retail areas demonstrating a high level of professionalism

CONTRIBUTIONS & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embody the brand's history and values and share your enthusiasm with customers
  • Welcome Guests and Clients upon arrival, obtain or receive merchandise, total bill, accept cash and credit payments, and make change for customers.
  • Post room charges accurately and promptly.
  • Wrap or bag merchandise for customers and invite customers to return upon departure.
  • Price and restock retail shelves when necessary
  • Book appointments, upsell services where possible
  • Assist in training new reception colleagues on all aspects of reception duties including promotions, changes, product and updates to operation when required.
  • Handle all guest and client inquires and/or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Build a lasting relationship with customers, secure their loyalty

Broad competencies as a beautician

  • Ensure that the welcome ritual is followed precisely, that the cabin is prepared, and that the diagnosis, treatment, service rituals and customer followup are all performed perfectly.
  • Ensure that you have perfect knowledge of the tools used for diagnosis (knowledge of the skin, muscles, ageing process, global approach to beauty and wellbeing etc.)
  • Achieve sales and rebooking objectives

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Aesthetics-Cosmetics (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 year experience Hotel/Spa reception
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the world of luxury and Beauty
  • Previous Experience and knowledge of Book For Time software is preferred
  • Computer literate (Word)
  • Makeup artistry certificate is an asset
  • Mastery of at least 3 different massage techniques: 3 years (preferred)
