Job Description:


You can expect the following responsibilities:


  • SCRUM Process: Ensure the team follows Agile practices and rules, facilitating
    efficient_ _SCRUM ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. This includes making sure that the pod is grooming well-written stories, sizing well-groomed stories, and committing to stories in a sprint that are well-defined with a clear definition of success and value.

Team Facilitation: Aid the team in self-organizing, achieving its objectives and following its working agreement. This includes holding engineering manager, developers, product manager, and others accountable to the pod norms and Agile best practices without fear of personal judgement.

Impediment Identification and Removal: Identify, prioritize, and remove impediments for the current sprint and future sprints that will prevent the team from achieving their sprint goals (e.g., IT, DevOps, and Platform Teams). Take ownership of stuck tasks and tickets, regularly reviewing and following-up with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager to prevent productivity surprises.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between the development team and external stakeholders, including preventing stakeholders from going directly to engineers.

Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement in the SCRUM process, facilitating retrospective meetings to identify and act on areas of improvement including the team Jellyfish metrics trends. Help the team track these actions and improve sprint to sprint.

Protect the Team: Ensure that the team is not over-committed and that they can focus on the highest priority tasks.

Release Coordination:Creating release tickets/meetings, ensuring work is properly assigned to a release tag, signoffs are occurring. Assist the team in following the Curinos SDLC through the environments and into production.


Qualifications:


  • Understanding of Agile Principles and how they're applied in workplace culture.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Very organized, driven, and inspired by achieving results within an organization.
  • Selfmotivated, willing to step up and help in any way you can. There's no such thing as "that's not my job" on our teams.
  • Strong communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution and mentoring skills
3+ years of proven agile team experience
