    Description

    Global HR is looking for Warehouse Supervisor for client located in Richmond Hill.

    Key Responsibilities

    Warehouse Operations:
    Receive, unload, and process incoming stock with precision and attention to detail.
    Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, as a licensed operator.
    Maintain organized warehouse layouts for efficient space utilization.
    Prepare orders for shipment or installation, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
    Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
    Oversee inventory of tools and supplies.

    Installation Duties:
    Interpret installation instructions and drawings accurately for shelving, racking, mezzanine, and automation systems.
    Transport materials to installation sites and perform installations to meet high standards.
    Ensure installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
    Troubleshoot and resolve on-site installation issues.
    Maintain a clean and professional work site.
    Travel to work sites (up to one hour from the office), with expenses paid.
    Occasional out-of-town/country travel required.

    Labour Management:
    Supervise warehouse workers, set performance targets, and track work hours.

    Maintenance and Safety:
    Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
    Regularly inspect tools and machinery for maintenance needs.
    Ensure proper equipment maintenance, including forklift batteries.

    Customer Service:
    Provide excellent customer service during installations, addressing customer concerns or questions.

    Team Collaboration:
    Collaborate with the warehouse team and other installers to ensure a seamless workflow from warehouse to installation sites.

    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Valid forklift operator's license, Scissor lift, and other safety certificates are mandatory.
    Ability to read and interpret installation instructions and drawings accurately.
    Strong knowledge of safety protocols.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field and 5 years using forklift.
    Nice to have: Own vehicle
    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
    Knowledge of shelving and racking systems.
