Guest Experience Manager

Position Summary Guest Experience Managers work in unison with the General Manager and Culinary Team to offer superior leadership and development skills to their teams.
Outside of their restaurants, they build and maintain a relationship with key stakeholders in the community to establish brand presence and potential marketing opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading by example, offering a handson management style with strong leadership skills
- Inspiring, motivating and encouraging all associates to perform to their potential
- Increasing brand awareness in the community through events and local store marketing
- Ensure operations function as efficiently as possible to maximize a positive dining experience for guests while balancing a strong return to the company
- Assisting with hiring and training for front of house roles
- Ongoing training and development for staff at all levels
- Cost effective weekly scheduling for all front of house positions to maximizes store performance while maintaining a work/life balance for each team member
- Previous experience with managing inventory, costing, accounting
- Ensuring store consistently operates according to brand systems and standards
- Instilling a 'promote from within' culture to build retention
- Routine walkthrough of restaurant including exterior entrances to address cleanliness, repair and maintenance requirements
- Responding and actioning guest communications in store, online or otherwise
- Collaborates with Chef and their culinary team to ensure food quality and timing standards are consistently adhered to
- Developing and delivering on sales drivers and employee engagement practices to build product knowledge while enhancing company profits
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all of our salaried and hourly associates
- Strong floor presence to build rapport with guests while assisting hourly associates with daily operations
Education & Qualifications
- 3+ years previous experience in a restaurant management position
- Must demonstrate passion for Italian cuisine
- Intermediate computer skills in MS office (word, excel)
- Demonstrates ability to multitask and problem solve under pressure
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as business dictates
- Food Handlers Certification, Health & Safety Management and Smart Serve Certified
- Subject matter expert on ESA and Human Rights Laws in Ontario
