Technician Assistant/shop Hand - Surrey, Canada - Valley Auto

Description

• Shuttle drives to drop off/pick up customers, when required
• Receiving and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly.
• Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
• Performing endofday cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, taking the garbage and recycling out, cleaning mirrors, and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor, cleaning shop equipment etc.
• Clean, vacuum & wash vehicles
• Pick up/deliver parts
• Assist mechanics with multiple tasks throughout the day
• Help mechanics perform minor maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, tires/brakes, spark plugs and other similar tasks.
• Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.

• The ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detailoriented.
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to life 50lbs
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion
• Knowledge/Experience of vehicle repair

• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
