FUNCTION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Ontario Branch Manager & Canadian Commercial Director, use all available resources, experience, and knowledge to successfully:

Produce a consistent flow of new closed opportunities required to meet your individual GP objectives as well Cargolution's annual GP objectives.

Share your strategies and collaborate closely with all internal stake holders to achieve collective success. Communicate your successes with our Team so you contribute to making Cargolution/Clasquin stronger.

  • Research for and onboard new business opportunities.
  • Promote Cargolution/Clasquin solutions.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Meet and exceed, whenever possible quarterly & yearly KPIs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs or requirements best suited for Cargolution/Clasquin solutions.
  • Followup, in a timely matter, on leads provided to you.
  • Elaborate and collaborate to share your customer/prospect strategy with internal key stakeholders.
  • Ensure our solutions are of value to customers/prospects and our organization.
  • Select RFP's that will match our organizations capabilities.
  • Assist in developing marketing initiatives to bring our brand to the market.
  • Document actions in our CRM.
  • Introduce our operations to relationships with customers/prospects to maintain a consistent level of support.
  • Act as an Cargolution/Clasquin ambassador during commercial activities.
  • Bring an open mind to better practice active listening.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or related experience required.
  • College level logistics & transportation education is ideal.
  • Minimum 5 years directly related experience.
  • CIFFA/CITT/CSCB and P.Log certifications are all a value added feature.
  • Solid sense of sales and business development.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • International freight forwarding market.
  • Air, ocean, ground, and intermodal modes of transportation.
  • Customs activities.
  • Well versed in Incoterms 2020.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Clear, open, and transparent communications both oral; and written.
  • Solid team player.
  • Selfstarter with excellent organizational skills.
  • Good sense of continuous improvement processes.
  • On time, all the time.
  • CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO CLEARLY COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH (ORAL & WRITTEN)
  • Territory: Ontario, Canada
  • Must hold a valid driver's license, clean driving record and able to obtain vehicle insurance.
