We have had the honour of working with a number of Canadian, US, and European-based pharmaceutical and biotech clients including, Apellis Pharmaceuticals, EMD Serono, Sage Therapeutics, Spark Therapeutics, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Arena Pharmaceuticals, Neurogene, Chiesi, Intercept, bluebird bio, Ovid, Jazz Pharma, Flexion Therapeutics, Sobi, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and many others.

We are currently looking for a Science & Strategy Analyst to join our consulting team. This is an entry-level, full-time role supporting client project delivery.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research and gathering, interpreting and organizing scientific and business intelligence data for strategy projects
  • Researching and drafting therapeutic area reports that capture scientific and business intelligence
  • Managing preparation for facilitated client workshops
  • Developing reports capturing the output of facilitated client workshops and interviews
  • Researching and summarizing scientific literature
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate successful execution of deliverables
  • Being a client resource on scientific content

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • Able to start working full time within 3 weeks of receiving an offer
  • A comprehensive understanding of the life sciences with the ability to utilize this knowledge across different therapeutic areas.
  • A Masters or higher in Life Sciences is required. (MSc., PhD., PharmD, etc.)
  • Able to analyze and communicate (written and verbal) scientific information across different therapeutic areas at a level of detail for appropriate for the audience
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpretive, and problemsolving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a project team to execute deliverables within stated timelines
  • Proven writing/communication skills with high attention to detail both in a narrative style for reports as well as PowerPoint presentations
  • Exemplary organization and time management skills
  • 12 years' experience in an agency setting would be an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office, excellence in PowerPoint
  • Strong capability in juggling priorities to meet deadlines while retaining consistently highquality outcomes
  • Legally able to work in Canada, a valid passport and ability to travel to Europe and USA
