(Tuesday-Friday 4pm-12am, Saturday 1pm-9pm)
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Payments and Trade Operations (PTO) Halifax team is looking for an experienced leader to fill the position of Team Leader, Deposit Monitoring.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- This role will oversee a team of up to 12 FTE, who are responsible for completing preclearing image capture activities for payment items received through multiple channels across Canada daily, including the balancing and resolution of out of balance situations for preclearing processing, as well as responsible for endtoend resolution of any investigation work stream.
- Will be responsible for ensuring all activities are completed on time and per quality thresholds to minimize the risk of financial loss and negative client impact.
Must have:
- High School Diploma
- Previous Leadership, Mentoring, and Coaching Experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Deadlinedriven and resultsoriented; able to meet consistently highquality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice-to-have:
- College diploma or degree preferred.
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
- Understanding of technology and financial services industry.
