Job Summary:
This is a full-time paid position ideal for a recent graduate. The contract is for a period of one year.


In this position, you will support voluntary, compliance based GHG registries as well as the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification registry.

You will process registry requests and will have daily customer interactions on the registry platform.


Responsibilities:


  • Support all aspects of administration for the CSA Group Registry Services, which presently include GHG registries, the Accessible Building registry and the EPD registry.
  • Work with IT and Finance teams to ensure a soft operation of responsibilities.
  • Provide and track Registry metric to ensure proper recording of all pertinent data and adherence to all process controls.
  • Manage daytoday registry activities including monitoring inbox, issuing invoices, responding to customer inquiries and processing requests.
  • Administer registry activities on CSA's registry platforms, completing registry requests, trouble shooting and liaising with IT or other departments when necessary
  • For GHG registries: Review GHG project and inventory reports and verification reports for conformity to the ISO 14064 series standards to be listed on the CSA GHG Registries
  • Assist in CSA's Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) program when needed
  • Providing support to IT team on registry platform functionality and upgrades.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environment and Business, Environmental Resource Studies. Other disciplines could be considered based on knowledge and background

  • Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills.
  • Fast learner and ability to learn and work with multiple software platforms;
  • High degree of attention to detail and record retention;
  • Research and analytical skills;
  • High degree of selfmotivation, a selfstarter and open to learning and improvement;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to perform tasks independently and meet deadlines
  • Good problemsolving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Highlevel working knowledge of office software (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Bilingual is an asset.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14064 series of standards is definitely an asset
