Description

This position reports to the Product Development Manager and will be responsible for conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining specifications, completing production timetables, pricing, time-integrated plans for product introduction and developing marketing strategies.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
  • Determine product pricing and customer needs by utilizing market research data
  • Review production and sales costs, anticipating volume, costing special and customized orders
  • Build and update web content
  • Accurately verify merchandise quantities, descriptions, and prices
  • Manage backend updates and new additions to our website
  • Work with our Graphics department, managing our image gallery and requests for images from dealers
  • Provide information for management by preparing shortterm and longterm product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests
  • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs
  • Prepare returnoninvestment analyses, and establish time schedules with engineering and manufacturing
  • Introduce and market new products by developing timeintegrated plans with sales, advertising, and production
  • Specific Project Management tasks, as directed
  • Other duties, as required

Qualifications required:


  • Minimum two years' education and/or experience in Business, Engineering or Marketing; an engineering degree is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Results oriented focus with a strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a fastpaced environment and able to function well under pressure
  • Automotive or agricultural mechanical knowledge as asset
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing abilities
  • Collaborative team player with a high level of dedication
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

Hours of Operation:
Monday

  • Friday, 8am4:30pm. However, additional hours may be required to fulfill job duties. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
