To move our vision forward we are looking for an experienced Accounting Process Analyst to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.
Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of books of account (including but not limited to preparing cheques, and posting invoices, preparing deposits, journal entries, reconciliations, petty cash).
- Prepare monthly / quarterly financial statements for General Manager.
- Complete monthly and year end working papers, reconciliation for all accounts, and assist with preparation for any audits or independent reviews.
- Liaise with project staff and support them in accounting needs related to their duties.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintain other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyze and report variances.
- Maintain investment schedules; oversee cash flow requirements, communications with financial institution on investments, current knowledge of regulatory changes and impacts on the organization's books of account.
- Provide an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all financial and accounting activities. Utilizing up to date, complete and systematic filing.
- Perform day to day duties required to maintain material inventory levels including manufactured components and inventory counts.
- Continuous process and improvement
- Preferred-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts. Experience modeling and mapping business processes an asset
- Proven ability to prioritize and organize work while working under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communications both verbal and written, confident communicating with all levels of the organization.

$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
