Geotech owns and operates state-of-the-art Drilling Equipment throughout western Canada.

Geotech is one of the larger exploration and geotechnical Drilling companies in Canada, with a fleet of over 50 rigs.

One of the large advantages Geotech has over its competition are the long-term contracts in place throughout Western Canada.

In addition to the long-term contracts, Geotech also has various other Geotechnical, Exploration & CPT work throughout the Territories & Western Canada.

The company has recently established permanent operations in Grand Prairie, AB.

Since setting up shop in Grand Prairie, our team has been focusing on projects associated with abandoned wells and site investigations for pipeline alignments in Alberta and Northeast British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities**- Perform routine labour tasks daily.

Filling out requisitions for project work.
Operating a forklift & other handheld equipment.
Ensure outgoing loads are organized, complete and secure for transport.
Maintain constant communication with yard and operations staff.
Exert excellent prioritizing skill to meet and exceed project timelines.
Understand and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Other related duties as required.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

Must possess and maintain a valid Canadian Driver's License.
Must be physically fit and able to lift 3050 lbs. to shoulder height 24 times/shift and able to work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
Some experience with industrial painting and sandblasting is considered an asset
Forklift experience considered an asset

Compensation
$ $28.00 an hour. Based on Experience
