Description

True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our Game Presentation team.

Reporting to the Manager, Game Production & Event Production, the
Video & Motion Graphics Producer will be a part of a dynamic team that is responsible for creating engaging video and motion graphic content utilized in conjunction with True North Sports + Entertainment, The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club and other Canada Life Centre events as assigned.

What to be excited for in this role:

Work with internal departments to help create elements for all Winnipeg Jets home games and True North supported events, ensuring the highest standards and brand consistency are achieved.
Design and animate motion graphics for nontraditional LED screen sizes.
Film and edit highly polished cinematic digital content for all TNSE platforms as required.
Oversee studio and field shoots, managing all elements (camera, audio, and lighting).
Continually manage the organization and cataloguing of all video assets.
Communicate with game day production crew to ensure accuracy and completion.
Work within a team that is constantly developing new skills and exploring new creative techniques.
Professional appearance and attitude when working with stakeholders.
Attendance at most Winnipeg Jets home games plus various other TNSE events.

What we need from you:

Advanced proficiency of the Adobe CC Suite with complementary plugins.
Working knowledge of professional video cameras
Strong understanding of 3D animation is a plus.
Motion graphics design experience required.
Experience operating professional video cameras.
Experience shooting and editing sports video highlights.
Keen eye for detail and ability to ensure creative accuracy before going live.
Must be able to work well under pressure and able to work on multiple projects in fast paced environment.
Ability to work well as part of a team environment.
Must possess a strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinker with knowledge of current events, pop culture, music trends and topics.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
