    Role overview


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business System Analyst to join our team in the insurance industry. As a Senior Business System Analyst focused on Property and Casualty insurance, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business goals and objectives.

    Must haves skills

    • P&C Insurance domain knowledge
    • BI and SQL / DB2 knowledge

    What you bring to the role

    • Strong domain knowledge in P&C Insurance
    • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and 3+ years in Business Analysis, Requirement Analysis.
    • As a business analyst, responsible to interact with the business partners and domain experts in order to understand their problems and needs. Responsible to gather, document and analyze business needs and requirements.
    • Experience in Joint Application Development Sessions (JAD), Business workshops for Project Initiation and Business Demo sessions.
    • Maintained and tracked Backlogs/Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), managed Iteration planning/Change Requests (CR).
    • Analyzed Current state of system and created user stories to develop new functionalities in target system
    • Created user documentation, instructions and procedures and answered questions raised by business users

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring two days a week in a client office in Toronto, ON, Canada.
