Intercity Packers is currently hiring a Customer Service Representative who is eager to work in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment in our Edmonton , AB location. The Customer Service Representative acts as a liaison, providing product/services information and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Contract: 12 Months
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to safe work practices.
- Order take (received orders by phone, fax, email) on a form
- Read, understand, and comply with all Company policies and procedures
- Communication – clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
- Contributing to Team Success – Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
- Attention to Detail- Inputting data correct in our inventory system.
- Managing Work (includes Time Management) – Effectively managing one's time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
- Quality Orientation – Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English (Written and Verbal Communication)
- Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Team-player as well as can work on their own.
