About the Opportunity
IPECC Solutions currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic
Project Manager to join our team in our Edmonton Branch.
As Project Manager, you will report directly to the PMO Director. You will be the lead and primary contact of the IPECC Solutions team with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
The project manager is responsible for planning and coordinating with the project team all aspects of the construction project including, design, permitting, construction methodology, prime contract management, subcontract management, consultants, estimating, quality control, schedule, cost control, safety, and retains accountability of project's final success.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage all components of assigned projects (estimates, budget, schedules, procurement, quality, and risk)
- Review job files and become familiar with the original estimate, plans, and specifications
- Construct the project by the design and budget
- Prepare and update all project documentation including work progress, changes in scope, issues, progress billings, forecasting, etc.
- Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules
- Chair project and site meetings
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions
- Report to, support, and receive direction from the Principal
- Approve vendor and subpayment requests
- Review all project controls every month to ensure the project is progressing on budget
- Hold closeout meetings to review outstanding items and the deficiency list
- Develop strong client relationships and ensure their expectations are met
About You
To qualify for this role, you will need at least 5 years of direct experience as a Project Manager in the commercial and industrial construction industry.

The Requirements:
- Experience of 5+ years working in a Project Management role on commercial, residential, andlight industrial projects
- Effective leadership, critical thinking, and ability to problem solve
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be competent in estimating and quantity survey
- Must have anexcellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills that are required to manage multiple tasks and people
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay:
$49,939.42-$110,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
