Role: Capture / Captiva Administrator

Location: Onsite, Regina, SK

Initial Contract: April 2024 – April 2025

Required Experience:

• OpenText Intelligent Capture / Captiva
• Familiar with Advanced Recognition tools (Dispatcher, HPA, freeform, Templates)
• Create, configure, and deploy Captiva processes (XPP) in multiple scale-server environments from multiple developers.
• Use of C#, .Net, and Rest API services (object-oriented polymorphism, function overloading)
• Use capture system internals: triggers, types, custom rules, configurations-for-code, augmenting / expanding the user interface.
• Database knowledge (AWS, Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL server ecosystems) creating SQL queries, database design & maintenance.
• AWS experience
• Cloud experience

Description of duties:

• Designs, develops, documents, tests, implements, and debugs new and existing software solutions using primarily Captiva technologies.
• Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements.
• Analyzes components to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
• Analyzes user needs, system requirements and business processes to determine technical requirements.
• Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug components to meet needs.
• Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
• Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
• Experienced in analyzing both COTS and custom applications for current technical and functional system requirements, mapping interfaces and making informed recommendations.
• Will need to have a collaborative mindset able to support and work across multiple work streams to collect, aggregate and compile; information, updates, and data.
