Founded in 2007, Quality Machining and Automation (QMA) is one of the leading in high precision machining in Ontario. We are equipped with over 8,000 square feet of state-of-the-art machinery and capable of running production 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Thanks to our large, multi-platform machining facility (which includes 5-Axis, CNC Vertical and CNC lathe machining centres) we serve a wide variety of North American manufacturing industries such as Aerospace, Automotive and Military/Defense. We are certified ISO 9100 and TS certified, plus controlled goods.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Operate and Manage a 3D printer
- Assist to read and interpret drawings and determine work and/or repair procedures
- Set up CNC Milling Machines and CNC Lathes and machine to prescribed tolerances
- Select mechanical measuring, checking and layout tools and devices
- Assist to execute measuring, checking and layout operations
- Perform metal removing operations using hand and power cutting tools
- Some heavy lifting
- Any other duties as required and assigned
Education and Experience:
- Completion of secondary school, postsecondary diploma from a technical college and/or university
- Minimum 1+ years in a manufacturing environment with some machining experience
- Knowledge and Experiencing (preferable) in 3D printing
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
