    Description

    We are looking for 1(one) self-motivated, strong interpersonal, and problem-solving Dental Therapists to help us deliver and promote our Dental care program, so that we can enhance awareness and improve the oral health status of LLRIB.     About our organization: LLRIBHS promotes dental health services and dental health education to all community members of LLRIB. We work closely with the schools and other health organizations. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we both address acute needs and the determinants of health.

    About the position: working out of the Jeannie Bird Clinic, you will be responsible for oral care to our clients in and around the community of La Ronge. Working cooperatively with health clinics and schools to provide complete oral services to school age children and adults.

  • Qualifications: Suitable candidates will have a Diploma in Dental Therapy, and registered to practice in the province of Saskatchewan; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset; Self-motivated and able to work independently; strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, public relations and problem solving skills; Demonstrate ability to prepare written reports; Candidates must have a valid driver's license; Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel.
