Are you known for your rigor, autonomy, and analytical skills? We are looking for a Claims Information Access Specialist to join the disability insurance claims operation department.


In summary, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing access and litigation file requests
  • Verifying received and obtained documents to meet legal information access requirements
  • Maintaining a visibility table on complaint and litigation files (dashboard)
  • Following up on litigation files with the legal department or others
  • Preparing necessary documents to initiate legal requests
  • Corresponding with government agencies (CRA, Revenue Quebec, Public Guardian, etc.)
  • Providing support to respond to regulator requests
  • Adhoc requests from the Deputy Director and advisor
  • Supporting the claims advisor in managing client complaints
  • Participating in various projects related to continuous improvement and related tasks
  • Proposing solutions to improve processes and procedures related to litigation and complaints


This position offers flexible work hours as well as a hybrid work mode with a mix of telecommuting and office presence.


Profile required:

  • College or university degree in legal or another relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent language skills in French and English, both spoken and written, due to frequent interactions with English and Frenchspeaking clients and internal colleagues/partners across Canada
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite
  • Experience in insurance (an asset)
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills (French and English)
  • Ability to analyze situations
  • Autonomy and initiative

  • Sense of responsibility
  • Great adaptability to change
