Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to stimulate cognitive function and promote social interaction.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the clients, ensuring their wellbeing at all times.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) with a valid certification.
• Proven experience working with individuals with dementia, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following care plans and instructions accurately.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Willingness to work fulltime hours.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour


Expected hours:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)


Language:

• Italian (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (preferred)
