Position Description:
We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we're still growing Join Canada's largest IT Company as a 'Business Analyst'. Business Analyst with Strong Agile and Analytical skillset to deliver Business requirements for a self-serve cloud based application, working on Online Quote buy and self-serve.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client location in Markham at a minimum 1 day per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Collaborate on planning, prioritization and design.
• Understand the business problem the project is tasked with solving and ensure project team does not lose sight of it.
• Work with project team on defining and managing project scope.
• Develop business workflows by creating AS IS and TO BE processes.
• Document business requirements and acceptance criteria
• Create, monitor and constant review of sprint plans looking for opportunities to optimize where applicable.
• Organize and lead working sessions and project update meetings within various levels of the organization.
• Work closely with business and technical team members in support of project deliverables.
• Identify project issues/roadblocks and steps for mitigation and resolution.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on project and process improvements.
• Act as a mentor to Junior resources.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• University degree or equivalent IT experience
• 5+ years BA experience
• Experience working on Digital Implementations.
• CIP certified or strong insurance knowledge.
• Guidewire PolicyCentre Experience is an Asset
• Scrum Master experience is an asset.
• Customer/business focused, strong stakeholder management and results oriented.
