We take pride in providing our purchasers with a superior level of product and personalized service. Kenmore Homes is seeking the services of an experienced _Project Coordinator_ with residential building experience to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and passionate about residential construction for our Niagara division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete permit submission packages, selection meetings, electrical walks, change orders and site instructions
- Set scopes of work with subtrades and suppliers to ensure a smooth build, capture efficiencies and minimise gaps
- Obtain pricing from trades, track historical trends and report variances to management to update budget
- Review plans, paperwork and selection processes to capture efficiencies and proactively avoid issues
- Obtain, organize and distribute all project information required for permits and project completion
- Maintain communication with trades, suppliers, customers and site staff to ensure adherence to the critical path
- Attend site meetings to review issues, meet with trades and assist in creating solutions
- Work with management to track and report the progress of each lot, highlight any variances and propose solutions
- Coordinate and complete the PDI (Predelivery inspection) with purchasers and warranty coordinator.
- Review and approve invoices, verify against budget and communicate any discrepancies
- Other duties may happen from time to time
Skills & Qualifications:
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in a related field
- 3 years experience in residential construction, or relevant coordinator position
- Combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered
- Understanding the Ontario Building Code is essential
- Experience with TARION process is an asset
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills required
- Ability to read and understand constructionrelated drawings/documents
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and adjust as needed
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, providing leadership when required
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe
- First Aid/CPR "C" certification an asset
- Have a G class drivers license
Salary:
$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
