The E-commerce coordinator is responsible for managing our e-commerce functions in the most efficient and effective way to support the strategic objectives of the company.

He/she works closely with the Marketing, Operations and Sales, to implement strategies to increase profit and market share.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Launch: Program to sell on Amazon, in US and Canada
  • Create: Product listings, pricing strategy, inventory management, etc. for Amazon sales
  • Development & Design: In Shopify, identifies modifications or new requirements for improvement on the website. Continually tests the site and identifies any problems.
  • Coordinates with management regarding needs related to ecommerce and impact on our daily operations.
  • Responsible for developing, launching, and maintaining content.
  • Database/

Catalogue Administration:

Maintains product data in the PIM (ie: descriptions, images, data sheets, URLS, attributes), ensuring the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the database.


  • Keeps all appropriate staff up to date on changes or updates to systems as needed. Answers user questions.
  • Conducts daily audits to ensure the correct products have exposure and are merchandised properly on our website.
  • Client data capture, analysis and segmentation.
  • Identifies & monitors industry specific trends.
  • Search Engine Optimization: Reviews best practices on optimizing search engine results, determines and implements the applicable solutions to use for the company website. Conducts keyword analysis on items sold at LSB and determines the appropriate tags to optimize search results.
  • Social Media: Oversees all channels, source content, and establishes open channels for customer feedback and conversation. Manage weekly and monthly calendars. Writes strong and succinct copy that speaks to our audience

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Amazon and Shopify)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Meticulousness and attention to detail
  • Great attitude, a strong team player with ability to multitask

Assets:


  • Experience in the fishing industry
  • 12 years of previous experience in eCommerce
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Knowledge of search tools

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
