JOB SUMMARY:


  • The
    Construction Manager reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Housing.

To assist the Director of Housing and the Six Nations of the Grand River in the planning, development, and management of Housing projects within the policies and procedures established by Six Nations of the Grand River and Six Nations Housing.

$65,000-$85,000


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • University degree in business administration, project management, land use planning, or real estate development and financing or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Construction/Project Manager
  • Indepth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
  • Experience in creating and managing timelines, budgets, and schedules for construction projects
  • Ability to manage a team of apprentice participants and subcontractors
  • Possess initiative and ability to work independently
  • Exhibit good organizational skills and ability to take direction'
  • Valid 'G' Class Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
