ABOUT UIS:

Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school, fully accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. We offer a specialized education here in Canada and abroad.

Over the last decade, we have offered specialized academic courses that are designed for students who wish to pursue higher education in Canada and around the world.

Based on the program students wish to pursue in post-secondary school, UIS prepares a customized study plan that underlies one of our four streams: Engineering, Science/Math, Business, Arts or College.

Most of our graduates are accepted in prestigious universities such as the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, among many other Canadian and international universities.

Urban International School is seeking a high school English/ ESL teacher who is flexible, friendly and well-equipped as a teacher

UIS pays for set prep hours per class on top of the teaching hours.

Job Duties:

- able to teach: Ontario Secondary School ESL + English curriculums

Lead and manage classes

- lesson planning
- accommodating and modifying lessons to fit students learning need
- teach English to improve conversation, Reading & writing skills

Qualifications:

English/ESL TEACHING EXPERIENCE required
Good communication skills
Able to create a safe learning environment for students
Able to cater lessons to different students' need and provide diverse teaching tools

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
