Responsibilities
- Pickup and deliver parts for service and parts department
- Receive shipments from carriers
- Keep bins in main parts department full with overstock from the warehouse area
- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare packing slips, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and record damaged goods. Report shortages and damages to Parts Manager
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized recordkeeping systems
- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
- Verifies all packing slips with parts pulled to insure product and quantities being shipped are correct
- Parts returns, PR's etc. are to be shipped within 1 week of receiving authorization to ship
- Assemble, check and ship core returns
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 12 years warehouse experience is an asset
- Experience Driving a 5ton truck is an asset
- Valid driver's license required
- Forklift Certified
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
- Effective problem solving and negotiating skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
Compensation Rate
- $ $23.24 per hour
- Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
