Order Picker - Baden, Canada - Turtle Mountain Seed Co. Ltd.

This is a full-time 44 hour per week position. MUST be able to work from Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.

Picking and Packing merchandise to go to customers on schedule.

• Pick merchandise following the Pick Sheet, ensuring the correct bag size and quantity are placed on the skid.
• Pack and palletize merchandise according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Assist all areas of production as required.
• Pick in every department, moving to other departments as required.
• Answer customers' questions about merchandise.
• Receive and count stock items and record data.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.
• Keep records of damaged stock and appropriately dispose of damaged stock in accordance with the S.O.P.
• Transport packages to customers' vehicles.
• Carry out work in a manner that will not create a hazard to themselves or others.
• Follow all Turtle Mountain Seed Co safety policies, procedures, and protocols. Report any accidents/incidents, near misses, injuries, and concerns to the Manager or a health and safety committee representative, and work in a safe manner that ensures the health and safety of themselves and all others on the work site (including but not limited to TMSC staff, customers, contractors.) this includes working in a manner that is in alignment with and promotes psychological and social wellbeing.
• Any other tasks requested to support operations, maintenance, and admin teams to collaborate, meet and exceed customer expectations.
