WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required for construction projects
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• Utilize construction estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam to create comprehensive estimates
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant data
• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
• Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
• Attend prebid meetings and participate in negotiations with clients

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
• Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as Accubid and Bluebeam
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Excellent mathematical skills for accurate quantity takeoffs and cost calculations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
• Experience in project management is a plus
