    We are seeking an upbeat and experienced Business Insights Lead to work in partnership with our P&L owners for the retail distribution channel. The role will be responsible for researching and providing high quality actionable insights, using analytics to identify opportunities and drive positive outcomes.

    This role is essential to supporting and delivering on our PI's business plan commitments. It involves collaborating with partners across Aviva to review and develop insights and solutions to business problems within the broker retail distribution channel.

    What you'll do:

  • Work closely with PI colleagues, as well as Finance, Reserving, Claims, Analytics, Distribution, and business teams, to provide timely and accurate information and insights to drive better strategic decisions and support performance management.
  • Obtains a clear understanding of business needs and strategy with the ability to communicate and execute requirements.
  • Maintains breadth and depth of knowledge using enterprise and industry/market trends and regular benchmarking exercises.
  • Provide insights and report recommendations to meet customer and business needs.
  • What you'll bring:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of industrial experience in BI Analytics, Reporting, or actuarial analysis
  • Proven ability to embrace and lead change, be highly adaptable and flexible, decisive and display excellent judgment.
  • Has effectively worked within a matrix & complex environment
  • Superior analytical skills with an insatiable desire to probe, validate and challenge to ensure accurate and relevant performance indicators are being reported and measured
  • Strong business knowledge and technical skills to advise and recommend optimal, relevant, and accurate information to the business for decision-making purposes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task concurrently in a fast-paced environment
