Summary of position:

Your expertise will be called upon for our large-scale development programs.

Reporting to the head of the engineering industrialization center, you will participate in the development, first assembly and industrialization of our landing gears.


Main responsibilities:


  • Approve assembly drawings and landing gear acceptance test procedures before their official
release, based on your expertise and lessons learned from the various programs.

  • Accompany our team of assemblers during the first assemblies of the qualification test units
and those to be delivered to the customers.

  • In connection with the methods department, develop and mature the train assembly
instructions as well as the tools and equipment that are necessary until the transfer to
production.

  • Ensure the technical quality of the landing gears and associated documentation to be
delivered

  • Organize intertest inspections of our qualification units
  • In connection with the quality department, manage nonconformities that were discovered
during the assembly phase

  • Contribute to developing and optimizing our internal train industrialization procedures

Qualifications:


  • Diplome in mechanical engineering, assembly technique and/or aeronautics
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the aeronautical field
  • Significant concern for health and safety
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 and SolidWorks and (asset)
  • French and English bilingualism (asset)
  • Experience in developing new products (asset)
