Description

Do you like being outside with a team of fun people? Are you physically fit, love the great outdoors and want to learn about plants and sustainable landscapes? Hawthorn Landscape Design is a great team environment, we work hard and we appreciate good humour and a tail gate on Friday afternoons.

Prior experience is not necessary but is an asset.

A keen eye for detail and skills in plant identification, including annuals, perennials, weeds and shrubs is also an asset.

A positive attitude is essential.

Duties include:

Garden bed maintenance includes weeding, cultivating, raking, edging, deadheading, pruning.
Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs and annual bedding plants in residential gardens.
Shrub and hedge trimming.
Lawn mowing, string trimming, edging.
Installation of stone pathways and retaining walls.
Plant habitat restoration in forested and riparian areas.

June to September is a 4 day work week.

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
