Details:
Full time, Evenings, 30 hours per week, 3:30PM to 11:30PM,

3-week rotating schedule

Schedule:

Week 1:
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Week 2:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday

Week 3:
Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Pay Scale:
$ $23.10 per hour

Location:
Beverly Place Lodge, Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5W 4Z8

Typical Duties:

This position will rotate between housekeeping and food services duties.

Housekeeping Aide Cleaning hallways and common areas, disinfecting, floor care, laundry and restocking supply areas, dealing with resident issues and emergencies as required, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Food Services Kitchen duties include:
food preparation, portioning and labeling food, cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas, and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables and other site-specific duties as assigned

Dining Room duties include:

greeting the residents, serving meals and beverages, setting and clearing tables, assisting residents at the buffet table as needed, assisting with meal attendance checks, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal
Experience performing commercial housekeeping and floor care is an asset
Experience in food preparation is an asset
Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred

Other Requirements:

Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive people focus
Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Pay:
$19.05-$23.10 per hour
