About the position
We are a motivated team of sales experts dedicated to promoting the adoption of the most advanced and user-friendly online payroll, HR, and group benefits management system for small and medium-sized businesses.

As an Account Executive at Rise, you will be at the forefront of pioneering a new market, expanding into uncharted territory, and cultivating established regions to grow the business.
You excel in solution selling and have a talent for engaging clients by leveraging key resources and stakeholders to close deals.
You possess an in-depth understanding of people management, payroll, and finance, as well as knowledge of the employee benefits landscape.

Our comprehensive onboarding program will provide you with the opportunity to collaborate with current Account Executives and Product Managers to refine your understanding of our technology and sales strategies.

A typical day involves

- Nurturing leads throughout the sales process and finalizing contracts, including sourcing potential clients independently
- Identifying and qualifying opportunities through prospecting and establishing key relationships within your assigned territory, focusing on organizations of various sizes
- Delivering business case presentations and product demos to enhance client engagement and comprehension
- Utilizing sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, and other automation resources
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data, planning, and forecasts

Key measures of success

- Achieving monthly sales quotas from assisted and self-sourced marketing efforts
- Meeting weekly activity metrics such as calls, meetings, and events
- Ensuring excellent account management in our CRM system
- Collaborating with the technical team to present comprehensive payroll and HRIS solutions and strategic business plans
- Demonstrating proficiency in product knowledge, understanding of competitors, and awareness of industry trends

About you

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in building relationships in a consultative sales setting
- Previous experience in sales within a high-growth SaaS environment

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience selling HCM/HRIS cloud-based products to small and medium enterprises
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or relevant field

- Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative
- Natural inclination towards fostering mutually beneficial relationships
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Customer-centric approach with the ability to quickly build rapport with business owners and influencers
- Fluent in Canadian French is desirable
