We specialize in water damage, fire and smoke restoration services; mould inspection and removal as well as damage restoration and disaster recovery.

As general contractors, we also specialize in construction, renovation, demolition and other services.


The Position:
Restoration Technician - **WINMAR Property Restoration is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team. This position is full time, and offers a competitive wage based on experience and expertise.

The role will be primarily responsible for water extraction and for the cleanup phase of residential and commercial properties that have experienced a loss.


General Responsibilities and Performance Expectations include:

  • Water Extraction
  • Set up & monitoring drying equipment
  • Asbestos containment and removal
  • Performing demolitions & light construction tasks
  • Cleaning up debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring
  • Setting up containment and decontaminating
  • Upholding all company policies and procedures
  • Confidence in leading other technicians and labourers
  • Able to work well in team environments as well as alone

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- restoration: 1 year (preferred)
