We are looking for a
Speech Language Pathologist (s) who is excited to work independently with primarily adult clients in their home settings on a face-to-face basis and virtual sessions., Be on the go with a schedule that works for you and which you have full control over.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide assessments in a home setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools.
  • You will see individuals with a wide variety of concerns including but not limited to clients recovering from stroke or other neurological problems who are now having trouble with speaking/breathing/swallowing. Design a care plan using evidencebased information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Because we use a hybrid model of care, including face to face and virtual, you can build a schedule that works for you and your client. We value an independent and flexible Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) while providing a dedicated support and training system.
  • Partner with our client's family members, caregivers and other health care professionals regarding care goals and service plans

Skills needed for success:

  • Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and the use of a reliable vehicle
  • Flexible and good organizational skills.
  • Multilingual language skills are an asset
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience providing homebased services is an asset, but new graduates are welcome
