We are seeking a Design Engineer to focus on developing creative and compliant solutions for custom projects. To be successful in this position, you should have hands-on experience using CAD software, with strong attention to detail. It's also important that you possess project management skills to meet the daily demands of the role.
Key Accountabilities
Create & design safe and compliant solutions for custom projects based on requirements while ensuring structural integrity, and that code/regulation requirements are met.
Meet with customers as required to understand their needs and to design a solution that will meet or exceed their requirements.
Review and update existing products as required to improve ease of use, installation, and maintenance.
Ensure design guides/policies/procedures are in place and maintained and reflect and conform to code and regulation requirements.
Requirements & Skills
Advanced knowledge of engineering principles obtained from a four-year university degree along with 8-10 year's work experience preferably in an engineering environment.
Expert knowledge and experience reading and interpreting codes, standards, and regulations.
Knowledge and experience using SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office products.
Other skills include, detail-oriented, analytical thinking, identify design improvements, work effectively under pressure and to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un ingénieur concepteur qui se concentrera sur l'élaboration de solutions créatives et conformes pour des projets personnalisés. Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devez avoir une expérience pratique de l'utilisation des logiciels de CAO et un grand souci du détail. Il est également important que vous possédiez des compétences en gestion de projet pour répondre aux exigences quotidiennes du poste.
Principales responsabilités
Créer et concevoir des solutions sûres et conformes pour des projets personnalisés en fonction des besoins, tout en garantissant l'intégrité structurelle et le respect des exigences du code et de la réglementation.
Rencontrer les clients si nécessaire pour comprendre leurs besoins et concevoir une solution qui répondra à leurs exigences ou les dépassera.
Examiner et mettre à jour les produits existants, le cas échéant, afin d'améliorer la facilité d'utilisation, d'installation et d'entretien.
S'assurer que les guides, politiques et procédures de conception sont en place et tenus à jour et qu'ils reflètent et respectent les exigences du code et de la réglementation.
Exigences et compétences
Connaissance approfondie des principes de l'ingénierie obtenue grâce à un diplôme universitaire de quatre ans assorti d'une expérience professionnelle de 8 à 10 ans, de préférence dans un environnement d'ingénierie.
Connaissance approfondie et expérience de la lecture et de l'interprétation des codes, des normes et des réglementations.
Connaissance et expérience de l'utilisation de SolidWorks et des produits Microsoft Office.
Autres compétences : souci du détail, esprit d'analyse, capacité à identifier les améliorations à apporter à la conception, à travailler efficacement sous pression et à respecter des délais serrés tout en conservant une attitude positive et en fournissant un service à la clientèle exemplaire.
