We are looking for a Kaizen Technician to join our team As a Kaizen Technician you will provide support to all departments by developing, assisting, & being proactive in the creation and implementation of Continuous Improvements.

The position duties will include, but are not limited to:

Ability to operate a Press as required to create & implement Continuous Improvement projects
Knowledge of the manufacturing process within the facility
Fill in all reports properly and completely
Maintain 5S in all areas in which project is being completed
Maintain all tools in proper places
Support all Associate Involvement team activities as required for Continuous Improvement
Suggest methods of improvement, (ie Continuous Improvement Plan)
Provide suggestions and solutions per the Associate Involvement program
Preventative maintenance as instructed
Complete PMA training courses
Operator forklift truck as required
Follow all health and safety regulations
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

Experience in metal stampings, including setting-up and minor troubleshooting
Basic welding and fabrication
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Superior interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgement in a team environment
Able to lift up to 45lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis.
Exposure to noisy environment
Previous press operator experience
TQPS training
