About The Opportunity

As the Financial Controller, Partners and Growth, based at our Vancouver office, you will be responsible for the FP&A function (budgets / forecasts and analysis), financial control and monthly management accounting for Micromine's direct Regions and indirect Channel partners.

Reporting to the General Manager - Partners and Growth, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the GM Partners and Growth to implement the strategic direction and delivery of business growth.
  • Work hand in hand with HQ senior finance employees (CFO and Group FC, Head of Commercial Finance) to report on growth, KPI's and desired strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach Regional Accountants, paying particular attention to FP&A financial control and commercial finance activities.
  • Analyze, plan, investigate and progress the FP&A function for the Region. FP&A philosophy to stay in front of growth and really make an impact on the future and deliver growth.
  • Work with regions to prepare budgets and forecasts and consolidate them into one overall corporate budget and forecast.
  • Consider economic and business trends, review past company performance and attempt to anticipate obstacles and potential problems, with an eye towards forecasting Micromine's future financial results

About You

You will have exceptional working knowledge of accounting disciplines such as financial and management accounting, consolidation of monthly reports, FP&A analysis, budgets, forecast, compliance, and reporting.


Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of software business operating models and experience in designing and implement new winning strategies in a team environment
  • A true business partner to drive process improvement
  • Ability to lead a team and effectively manage workflow
  • CA / CPA qualified with demonstrated senior accounting experience
