Payroll Analyst


The Payroll Analyst position is responsible for the preparation and balancing of bi-weekly payrolls and ensuring accuracy and compliance with established payroll and CRA standards and procedures.


Performance Expectations

  • Ensure employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Preparation and balancing of biweekly payroll and employee deductions.
  • Administration of payroll involving ADP payroll services.
  • Preparation of payroll initiated remittances (EHT, WSIB, EI, CPP and tax).
  • Preparation of quarterly Stepping Stool bonuses.
  • Administration for employees' and government payroll inquiries.
  • Preparation of Records of Employment.
  • Administration of payroll endofyear reporting and reconciliations.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Credentials

  • High School Diploma or equivalent general education and related experience.
  • Minimum three years of previous payroll experience.
  • CPA designation or currently working towards designation.
  • ADP payroll system experience considered an asset (ADP WFN).
  • Experience working in a fully computerized environment including advanced Excel and Word skills.
