Business Overview


The specialized financial team is a small but meaningful part of the client services department, handling specialized and high-risk financial requests.

This team is composed of senior representatives with experience in processing and knowledge of the financial services industry. The team is also responsible for time sensitive processes critical to everyday business functions within Fidelity.

How You'll Make an Impact


As an Operations Processing Specialist, you will use your strong understanding of TAP (Transfer Agent Processing) policies and procedures to coordinate client account maintenance and implement sophisticated specialized process transactions of registered and non-registered accounts.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and efficient daily account administration and specialized trade execution.
  • Meets predetermined quality and efficiency rates.
  • Trades processed within the standards of established by the department and company.
  • Daily report and settlement responsibilities completed accurately and on time, adhering to deadlines every single day.-
  • In depth knowledge of Fidelity products, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of National Instrument
  • Support Fidelity values and other job responsibilities.
  • Conducts business in a manner consistent with Fidelity values of integrity, dedication, partnership, and balance.
  • Looks for opportunities for continuous improvement within the department to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Supports new department initiatives through active participation.
  • Make valuable contributions to the client experience by understanding what is important and recognizing what needs to be done.
  • Delivers service with the highest quality to external and internal clients.
  • Demonstrates Fidelity values in daily interactions.
  • Takes intuitive in support of continuous improvement.
  • Delivers service with highest quality to external and internal clients.


What We Are Looking For- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.- Minimum 2+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry.- Strong understanding of TAP (Transfer Agent Processing) policies and procedures related to transaction processing.- Canadian Securities Certificate (CSC) or Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC) is an asset.- Bilingualism in French/English would be an asset.
